Babydoll Quilt Bunny #2

$60.00
Sold

A couple of years ago, on a vacation to Maine, I found a vintage quilt for a doll bed in a roadside antique shop. It had some stains, but fun colors and a random pattern. When I finally got the nerve to take it apart, I discovered that the batting was scraps of clothing that were randomly stitched together. I imagined a grandmother handing over her scrap bag and sewing machine to a young learner for practice.

This sweetheart is hand stitched cotton and stuffed with denim. She is approximately 13” from ears to toes. Currently available for purchase at the Augusta Art Guild Gallery in Augusta, KY.
