George Goode was a renowned ichthyologist, working for the US Commission of Fish and Fisheries. As Assistant Secretary of the Smithsonian Institution, he organized national natural history exhibits for expositions in Cincinnati and Louisville in 1884.
George is approximately 10 inches tall and constructed of recycled wool, a vintage tie and buttons. He is stuffed with recycled denim. This item is not recommended for children under three, as there are small buttons included in the design. George is currently on display at the Children’s Theater of Cincinnati, and will be available for shipping at the end of October, 2023.
