Rebecca Scattergood Savery is known for six quilts that are in the collections at Philadelphia Museum of Art, the American Folk Art Museum, and the International Quilt Study Center and Museum. Her sunburst quilt, made in 1839 for her granddaughter, is 9’x10’ and consists of 4000 4” diamond pieces.
Rebecca is hand stitched from recycled wool and stuffed with recycled denim. She wears a vintage quilt square o and is approximately 14” tall.
