Jeanette Throckmorton was an accomplished physician, lecturer, medical, librarian, and quilter. She took an art appreciation course during her post graduate studies that led her to quilting. She created more than 60 quilts and donated two to the Chicago art Institute.
Jeanette stands approximately 12” tall and wears a vintage quilt square sundress. She is constructed of recycled wool and denim.
