The story goes that The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe all began from a single image C. S. Lewis had in his head one day of a faun with an umbrella and parcels walking through a snowy wood. That faun, it turns out, was Mr. Tumnus. He meets Lucy at the Lamppost the first time she comes through the Wardrobe and befriends her. He does betray the children to the White Witch, but repents in time and saves Lucy from capture. He becomes a loyal and enduring friend of all four Pevensies and a true servant of Aslan.
Mr. Timnus is approximately 12 inches tall. He is constructed and dress in recycled wool.
