Edmund is the third-born Pevensie and becomes King Edmund the Just in Narnia. At the beginning of the story Edmund is rather a jerk to his family, lying and making fun especially of his little sister Lucy. He meets Jadis and comes under her influence (she feeds him bewitched Turkish Delights) and betrays his siblings, both coming to and causing great harm. Aslan redeems Edmund from the clutches of evil; Edmund is transformed. He becomes a protector and a voice of reason.
